Police: Woman forced youth to move out of way of her car

BRATTLEBORO — A 73-year-old Brattleboro woman was cited with negligent operation and recklessly endangering another person after she allegedly forced a juvenile who was playing football to leap out of the way of her oncoming car, police say.

According to a news release from the Brattleboro Police Department, Susan K. Sively is expected to appear in court on April 2 to answer to the charges.

Police said the incident happened at Morningside Commons.

The juvenile was not injured.
