Your Thanks: Putney Foodshelf

Posted

Editor of the Reformer,

Thanks from the Putney Foodshelf to all the intrepid rural mail carriers who toted the bags of donated food to the Putney Post Office for the "Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive" on May 11, 2019. The total amount of food collected for the Putney Foodshelf was 1,831.3 pounds, a record. We also thank the generous donors who participated in the drive. Your donations are much appreciated and will help us serve those who use the Foodshelf.

The Putney Foodshelf's mission is to provide supplemental healthy food to people in need. We are located in the Putney Community Center, 10 Christian Square (ramp side) in Putney, and we are open twice a week: Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. Anyone in need of food is welcome.

We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Our website, www.putneyfoodshelf.org, accepts credit card donations.

Sincerely,

Nancy Olson

President, Putney Foodshelf Board of Directors
